Can we stop with the Mike Smith is fatigued nonsense. They haven't traveled in two weeks, they had a four day break, another two day break, and had zero back to backs on the homestand. If he's fatigued from that, any chance at a playoff run for the Flames is hopeless.

Off topic but I thought the flames were going to release the Plan B for the new arena weeks ago? Did this ever happen? Curious to see the arena design

The Flames released Plan B for the new arena months ago in the East Village. Everything has come to a complete halt in negotiations, with the current mayor Calgary has don't be surprised if the team is no longer more pretty soon

Perhaps we should revise his nickname to NotSoFatRass... We should give the guy a little credit. He worked hard over the summer and dropped a bunch of weight.

I was speaking to someone that I know in the Flames organization and when they say that they have abandoned the new arena idea they really do mean it. It's a dead issue within the organization.

Can't say how the rest of the season will go but so far he's been our best player but alrighty sir

No reason he can't keep playing this well on a team who's defence is starting to show up!
